This is being written in response to Homer Kizer’s web page at: http://homerkizer.org/ and his "evil speaking" as he puts it and justifies himself by using the Bible for his gain and authority to do so. Satan has his ministers who appear as angels of light. Yet God says there is no light in them.

As I read much of your so called justifiable "evil speaking", I see that you have no boundaries. That should be of no surprise to any one, for we are forewarned in the Holy Scriptures that men would arise speaking evil of those who walk the way of God. I just didn't think it would so readily come from within the church of those who profess to know God. Yes, there are plenty of scriptures that I have read that warn us of that. Yet, wanting to believe the best about people, it seems, for that reason many get caught off guard.

You bring our past D&R situation into the mix, so I will use that to show that your fruits are not of God.

While you preach that our situation or any other for that matter should remain in and be judged by the local congregation because only they know all of the details, and therefore we should not have appealed to a greater independent Church of God audience; you did that very thing by printing every thing imaginable about Norman Edwards on a web site. Mind you, appealing to these same, worthless physical mindless (as you put it) independent Church of God people, who in your own words, "They are lukewarm, fit for nothing...". Yes, appealing and poisoning their minds with your snake venom against a brother of ours.

Be it known to you and all, that the local congregation knew absolutely nothing of our D&R case, for the hierarchy of that church keeps every thing silent. They couldn't judge anything hidden from them. We appealed to the greater church, not to get back into their "stew", but that all could be warned and scales be removed from as many eyes as possible of the rottenness of false teachings and doctrines that are perpetuated in the name of Jesus Christ. The very same reason I am appealing to all who will listen to me about your stench you are spewing out about a brother so all may hear and fear not to walk down your path. Because you will continue to walk down that path until a Higher Power stops you, by the prayers of the righteous.

You say Norman and Marleen are not your brethren, for you have committed them to Satan. WHAT? They are our brethren. Why do you speak evil against the Congregation of God? They are holy (set apart for the work of God) as all those God has called to do His work. Your work will be known to all those that He has called whether they be of men or whether they be of God.

Stop your Satan inspired attack on our brother. Had you kept those differences off the Internet, it would be a local thing (as you preach it should remain local) and your venom of a brother of ours would not be all over the Internet for the whole world to see. I have a brother three years my elder, if he were being attacked in any way, I would stand in the gap in whatever way I could and keep him from being devoured by wolves of any sort. Why should it be so hard for you to grasp that concept? The answer to that question lies in the body of this letter.

Jesus said that the world would know us by our love for one another, not for our contempt of one another. While you preach Godliness you devour spiritual houses. You are not of a right spirit. Be careful least God commit you to Satan. Like the Pharisees, hypocrites of Jesus time, you preach one thing, but do all together some thing else. He called them a brood of vipers.

I admonish all of those of the greater independent-interdependent Church of God and all God fearing people to mark (take note of) this man Homer Kizer. For I perceive he is in the bond of bitterness and iniquity and has not any concern at all for the servants of God.

Homer, you don't have any love for the Edwards‘. You only have contempt for them and your tale bearing reeks of it! I therefore urge you in meekness and prayer, therefore to lay aside your hate for the Edwards‘, that peradventure, that God will grant you repentance and bless you.

I appeal to all reading this letter that we all pray for this man Homer and this situation. It may be then with our spiritual house in order, our preaching of the Gospel will have a positive effect on others whom we seek to desire to know God. As it is now, the Homer Kizer’s and others like him of this world, give the Church of God a bad name. When these people preach one thing but do not as they preach, they take the name of God in vain. God will not hold one guiltless if we take his name in vain.

There are enough principles set forth in scripture by our High Priest how we are to treat our brethren and all people. I see the fruit of this Anti-Christ conduct and it is not good.

Let us all have the courage to see this man, Homer, for what he is, not what he professes. "By their fruits, ye shall know them". -- Mat. 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? vs. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
