Sacred Names Doctrine?
by Richard A. Heath

As this age closes, we are informed (in Revelation 2&3) about 7 specific assemblies of our Mighty One. One, in particular (Philadelphia) is described this way, "You have a little strength, and have kept My WORD, and HAVE NOT DENIED MY NAME(!)" (Rev. 3:8). Later on, as their rewards for 'overcoming' are listed, it says, "I will write on him the Name of My Mighty One(!)."
To underline the importance of this identifying mark of the end-time assemblies; we're introduced to 144,000 of them (in Rev. 14:1) where they're described thusly:" And I looked, and lo, a Lamb stood on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000, HAVING HIS FATHER'S NAME WRITTEN IN THEIR FOREHEADS." This sounds like a parallel of the reward of the Philadelphians, doesn't it?
The Hebrew portion of the scriptures is literally FILLED with references to the Name of the Mighty One of Israel. Proverbs 30:4 actually asks, "Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, and what is His Son's Name, if you can tell?"
In almost 7000 instances, the Given Name of the Mighty One of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob ...YHWH (called the tetragrammaton, and pronounced "Yahweh") ...was purposely deleted from the Bible!! The same is true in the case of our Savior and elder Brother, whom everyone would quickly inform you is "Jesus." The fact is, and can be proven beyond the shadow of a doubt, that our Anointed One was a Jew... born of Jewish lineage... and was given a fairly common Jewish name by his parents. That Name IS... "Yahshua" (or Yah-o-shua, according to Strong's Concordance. See
"Jesus"-Gk. S.E.C. #2424 with cross-references).One reason that this is important is that it accurately (and correctly) answers the question already posed in Prov. 30:4. But more importantly is the fact that the Bible says that there is only ONE saving Name... in Acts 4:12--:
"For there is no other Name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
It's my sincere belief that these are the "end times" spoken of in our Bibles. As such, I equally believe that there are 144,000 (and possibly an innumerable multitude as well) that are, being called and sealed in our Father's true Name. Because of these beliefs, I am making available to any who want to know; names & addresses of groups that are sharing this saving knowledge with the world. If you are interested in obtaining this truth via "Sacred Name" Bibles, tracts, articles and magazines; please write your request to me: Richard A. Heath 611 20th Pl. Apt. #1 Vero Beach, Fla. 32960
I will happily share what I have been enlightened to, as well as providing names of "Yahwist" groups who publish this amazingly unknown information. Believe me; I have nothing to gain from this effort... than more brothers & sisters. May YHWH direct your hearts and steps always.
Editor's Note:
We do not endorse the doctrine of Sacred Names. There is no name that saves anyone, what saves a person is when they repent of their sins and do everything which God commands them to do in the Bible.
Verses in the Bible which refer to God's name are talking about everything which is representative of God. In other words when one thinks on God, it covers everything He commands us to do. Just pronouncing His name in Hebrew will not save anyone. Our salvation requires that we do something rather than just get his name correct.
The concept of a sacred language (Hebrew) comes from the Cabala (also spelled Cabbala or Kabala) a book of mysticism and/or those who practice Cabalism.
The Hebrew language is not the original language of Adam and Eve. Genesis 11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound (confused) the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
The Hebrew Language came into existence sometime during or after God confounded (confused) the original language. The original language was lost (confused) at the tower of Babel. Laura Lee
