The Two Witnesses are the next major step forward in God's Plan of Salvation. They will appear BEFORE the Great Tribulation (Malachi 4:5) in the spirit of Elijah (especially the chief spokesman between the two of the House of David - Zech. 12:8). They will deliver the GOOD NEWS to Judah that Messiah will save us from our sins and from our enemies (Isa. 40:9).

 

Sometime, perhaps 3 and one half years after getting the Word out from Jerusalem (Joel 2:1), since they must FIRST sound the alarm about WWIII, God will EMPOWER them with miracles like the Earth has NEVER SEEN BEFORE! (Ex. 34:10, Rev. 11:3). At that point they will turn from warning about imminent national defeat, destruction, occupation and deportation to COMFORTING OUR CAPTIVE PEOPLE with the GOOD NEWS that our NATIONAL DELIVERER will come and save us and reverse the roles and turn the tables on our enemies!

 

Pasadena was the headquarters for the Philadelphia era of God's Church; Edmond serves as the headquarters of this present Laodicean era and SOON now JERUSALEM will serve as the final headquarters of God's Work on Earth preparatory for the coming of Israel's King!

 

So we see that the Two Witnesses must first be in Jerusalem warning the whole world of what's about to happen, and then EMPOWERED FROM ON HIGH they'll continue part two of their ministry to COMFORT ISRAEL AND PREPARE THEM TO MEET THEIR GOD!
