Little Use for Incoming Information? (05-17-07)

by Ray Daly (Lincoln, North Dakota)

Ray Daly writes:

Thanks for sending your newsletter in the past. I really have little use anymore for incoming information that I do not have any outgoing outlet for.

Laura Lee writes:

Much of what you say and teach is nonsense and cannot be backed up through scripture, so I would assume this is why you don’t get a lot of feedback (both give and take). We have received two letters from you prior to this and fully plan to answer them or get an answer for them at some point. The reason we don’t always answer back right away is because you are not the only person who writes to us. We receive many letters from all over the place and it is really hard for two people to keep up with that as well as to work and do whatever else has to be tended to on a daily basis. We do the best we can with the time we have and we are sorry to you and others that we aren‘t faster at answering snail mail and/or email.

Ray Daly writes:

Hope things are going well with you guys.

Laura Lee writes:

Things are going well and we hope all is well with you and your family also.

Ray Daly writes:

To be honest, I do not find ANY organization doing ANYTHING! True Sardis all the way! Philadelphia is coming though --- I only hope and pray!

Laura Lee writes:

We are sorry you feel that way. I believe there are several people who are doing something, us included. As far as waiting for a certain era to kick in, I wouldn’t hold my breath since church eras are not found in the Bible.

Ray Daly writes:

Have an article I’ll send as soon as it’s typed! (half done), Take Care! Your friend, Ray

P. S. -- Have you yet changed your church tradition?

Laura Lee writes:

If you are asking if we still sing 3 or 4 songs and have an opening and closing prayer during the course of Sabbath Services each week, the answer is  yes.

For anyone reading this, I will explain this point. Ray Daly believes that singing and praying during Sabbath Services is a sin and so therefore he will not attend Sabbath Services with us because we sing and pray.

We find it amazing how many different excuses people find and promote so they will not have to assemble with other brethren for weekly Sabbaths or Holy Days. Read Leviticus 23 where it says the weekly Sabbath and the Holy Days are to be Holy Convocations. A Convocation is a formal commanded (by God) assembly or meeting.

Ray Daly writes:

As more and more wake up, I do no longer use e-mail! Thank God!
