Please pray for my son, Scott Moers. Scott suffers from mental problems which affect not only his life in a very negative way but also the lives of those in our family. Please pray for God's intervention in granting mercy, peace and direction in Scott's life and also healing so that he and our family can experience some relief from this nightmare. A young man who is a friend of our family was recently convicted of a crime involving drunk driving. It was a serious crime which would involve a long story. To make a long story shorter, this young man's name is Chris Suchar and he is 29 years old. Chris made a terrible mistake which evolved from a problem with alcohol. Chris is a kind and caring young man and doesn't deserve all that has been done to him by our "justice system."

The prayers are for him and his family and asking for God's protection for him while he is in prison. He has been sentenced to 72 months but could be out in 36 months. His Mother is quite distraught as any of us can understand. Chris has been incarcerated at one of the worst prisons in Washington state and is housed with murders and rapists and has already been approached by gangs who are demanding money from him.
