Oh Holy, Mighty God in Heaven, I worship you and Magnify your name.  All praise and glory is yours and I offer my thanks in the name of your son Jesus Christ for all the wonderful blessings you brought to my life and the lives of my family members.  Last sabbath at the Church of God 7th day that I recently joined, the members decided on a day of prayer, repentance and fasting.  It was my first such day and I, probably a little overzealous to impress the One Great Holy God that has done so much for me, ran into a little difficulty.  I started out ok having a light snack just before sunset then continued with only water. Morning came and as the first pangs of hunger struck I thanked the Lord for allowing me the opportunity to participate in the days activities but by 15 hours into my fast the room started spinning and I started to feel ill. But by the grace of my saviour Jesus Christ I was able to make it to 20 hours before feeling like I was going to pass out, at which point members of the church were able to convince me that I should atleast have some fruit juice.  But through my Lord, I made it and I hope my sacrifice was pleasing to him as I desire to please no other.  So I again offer my highest thanks and praise for the strength he gave me to make it through that day. Hallelujah! I also praise him in advance for the conversion and salvation of the souls of my family members and my friend Marc, who I know will soon be a loving, faithful, righteous servant to our heavenly Father and a loving, faithful husband to me; as he is no good to me until he's acceptable in God's sight.

Oh Holy Mighty God, you are exaulted on high and you are indeed worthy of all praise! Hallelujah! In Jesus' precious and holy name... Hosanna in the Highest!
