Oh Great and mighty Father in Heaven, only you are holy and only you are God and I come before you in the name of your son Jesus Christ who sits at your right hand in Heaven as I anxiously await his second coming in Glory. And I give all my thanks and praise for the wondrous works you have done in my life. For the past six years I have worked in an office plagued by constant strife and conflict. Every effort to please my supervisors and managers were rewarded only with criticism. Even those I regarded as familiar friends took turns attacking me when my back was turned; twisting my words and even once falsely accusing me of a physical attack on another staff member. Although benefiting from my talent, skill and experience, they complained bitterly that I was overqualified for my job, that I was robbing someone else of an opportunity, while our director intercepted and prevented my applications from reaching our head office for promotion because I was too much of an asset. More often than not I was discouraged, crushed and pressured, but because I was convinced that my great and ever wise eternal God put me there for a reason, I continued to put my best into every task I did and all my strength to endure came from my loving saviour Jesus Christ who defended me tirelessly and brought me out of every troubling situation victoriously. A final effort was made against me however while I was on vacation and on my return to work I was informed that I was transferred and I my responsibilities were being reduced. But my God is so merciful me, he placed me in an office closer to home with more opportunities for promotion and my new supervisors and managers so far have given me nothing but encouragement and I just want to lift up and exalt my most holy, most awesome and most excellent most high God in the name of his son Jesus Christ for his wisdom and the mercy and loving kindness he has shown me. All Glory, honour and power is his. Hosanna in the Highest!
