Betsy and Danny want to make sure that even the neediest people have something to be thankful for
at Thanksgiving. Since 1996, they have been holding Thanksgiving turkey drives and distributing them to hungry families in Massachusetts.
"Together we are making a difference," say Betsy and Danny. "Our goal is to end hunger."
In support of their goal, the Purdue

felt that giving was better than receiving. Since then, she has held her birthday parties at locales such as a soup kitchen, an animal
shelter, and a retirement home, so she and her friends can give to others. This year, for her 11th birthday, they will climb a mountain
to benefit Muscular Dystrophy.
Jennifer Macken - Playing a Happy Tune
Once a week, Jennifer uses her talent to play the piano
and lead sing-alongs at a local nursing home. She loves spending time with the elderly residents because she has made wonderful friends
and is able to help others live their lives to the fullest.
Crysta Bettendorf - Cleaning up Cemetery
Crysta felt sad when she
saw an unkempt cemetery in her hometown. The very next day, Memorial Day, she cleaned up the cemetery and placed flowers with personal
notes tied to them at the gravesites. She plans to do this every Memorial Day.
Steven Lenoir - Sending Homeless Kids to Camp

returned the clothes he got for his birthday and exchanged them for outfits he could give to homeless children. He continued his generosity
and raised enough money to send two homeless girls to summer camp. Today, Oprah announces that she will grant his wish of sending
